First ad from the debates: The “Smirk”

Yesterday, I suggested you’d be able to tell who won last night’s debate by which side cut an ad highlighting their opponent’s poor performance. Enter the Republican National Committee, which has just released this new ad called “Smirk”:

Obama’s smirk was not quite as pronounced as Al Gore’s endless sighs in the first 2000 debate, and he had no glaring verbal gaffes like John Kerry’s “global test” in the first 2004 debate. But you can be pretty certain you won’t see Team Obama cutting any ads showing Romney’s performance last night.
